Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Beastie boys - Sabotage. Jack Thomas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thomas manages to avoid it.
Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
Thomas closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Thomas pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Thomas moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Thomas fails with a takedown attempt.
Peter Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Thomas.

Lee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Thomas's half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Thomas feints and then cracks Lee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lee down.
Thomas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Thomas moves forwards but Lee connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Lee closes the distance and pushes Thomas back into the cage.
Lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Thomas has Lee pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lee manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Thomas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.

Lee tries to bum rush Thomas with a series of wild strikes but Thomas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee throws a right hand that Thomas ducks under and follows up with a left that Thomas also avoids with ease.
Lee throws a lazy right hand but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A jab from Lee does it's job there.
Lee misses the shot to the body.

Lee has managed to clinch.
Thomas tries for a takedown but Lee manages to get underhooks.
Lee prevents the takedown attempt.
Lee is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Thomas throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range.
Lee digs a good body shot into Thomas's ribs.

Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thomas's head.
Jack Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lee tries to get out of the position.
Thomas wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.

Thomas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
A lull in the action here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Thomas is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Thomas throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Thomas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lee is stalling here. Thomas is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Thomas has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Thomas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Thomas lands a nice looking body shot.

Thomas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Thomas doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Thomas lands a nice short elbow.
Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lee tries to get to full guard but Thomas has control of the leg.
Thomas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lee trying to hold on to Thomas's head to control him but Thomas postures up.
Thomas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Lee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
