Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanius Viver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andre Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sanius Viver! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marshall throws a knee to the head but misses.
Marshall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Viver uses from the top position. Viver not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Viver throwing strikes from guard but Marshall blocks nicely. Viver is fighting to break Marshall's control of his arms but Marshall is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Marshall has a closed guard, preventing Viver from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Viver passes Marshall's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Viver stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Marshall to get to his feet. Viver dives in and grabs Marshall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Marshall pushes down on Viver's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall tries for a takedown but Viver circles away easily and Viver counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Marshall's guard now. Marshall looking to control but Viver passes into half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Marshall manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Marshall is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Viver is controlling him. Marshall working a defensive guard but Viver passes into half guard.

Marshall looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Marshall is breathing heavily. Viver trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Viver decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Marshall, up you get! Viver tries to clinch there but Marshall circles away.
Marshall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Viver fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marshall on the side of the head. Viver with a lazy takedown attempt and Marshall counters with a single leg into guard. Viver didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Marshall postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall stopping the sweep attempt from Viver. Marshall throws a big right hand that misses. Viver controls Marshall momentarily but Marshall frees himself. Viver throws his legs up looking for a submission but Marshall uses it to pass to side control.
Marshall is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Viver knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Marshall staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Marshall stands up and we're back to a striking position. Nice sprawl there from Marshall as Viver shoots in. Andre Marshall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanius Viver. Viver gets caught flat footed, as Marshall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Marshall dominated that round. That's time! Marshall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Marshall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A lazy body kick from Marshall and Viver counters with a low kick, right behind Marshall 's knee. Marshall moves out of range of the strikes. Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Viver paws at him with a jab and circles away. Viver tries for a takedown but Marshall circles away easily and Marshall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Viver's guard. Viver is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Viver keeping moving, preventing Marshall from controlling successfully. Marshall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Marshall content to stall in guard here. Viver pulls Marshall in close to his closed guard and prevents Marshall from doing any damage or advancing position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Viver has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Marshall has passed into side control.
Viver is trying to buck Marshall off. Marshall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Viver is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Marshall tries to advance to mount but can't. Viver sneaks back into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Viver manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Marshall slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Marshall throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Marshall won't allow Viver to sweep him here. Marshall sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Marshall's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Marshall preventing the sweep. Viver is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Viver doesn't succeed with the takedown and Marshall counters by clinching up. A hook to the body from Viver.
Marshall scores a nice knee to the body.
Marshall manages to break the clinch.
Marshall misses with a takedown and Viver counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Viver looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Andre Marshall will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Marshall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Viver pinned against the cage. Viver gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Viver lands with a nice body punch. Viver feints and as Marshall raises his hands in defense, Viver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Marshall has Viver pulled in close to control his posture. Viver is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Viver lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall wants to improve his position but instead Viver has moved into half guard.
Marshall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Viver is working away from the top position though. Viver gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Marshall throws a head kick that misses. Viver scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Marshall is staying active underneath Viver, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Marshall drives through with a takedown into guard. Marshall throws a strike but Viver rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Viver trying to control the position from guard on top but Marshall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Marshall wants to pass to mount but Viver is defending the position. Viver is looking to escape. Marshall not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Sanius Viver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Andre Marshall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Marshall stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
And that's the end of the fight! Sanius Viver comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Marshall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
