Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hermann Biber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Reynolds's choice of entrance music: Fire and Rain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hermann Biber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rusty Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds stuffs the takedown.
Biber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reynolds paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Reynolds tries to clinch but Biber moves out of range.
Biber shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reynolds pinned against the cage. Reynolds gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Reynolds shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Reynolds working Biber over with strikes.
Reynolds takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Reynolds wants to pass the guard but Biber is defending well.
Biber is breathing heavily.
Reynolds landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reynolds is pressing down on Biber's thigh, looking to free his foot. Biber is holding on for now.
Biber is trying to stand up here but Reynolds is controlling him well.
Biber really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Still in half guard, Reynolds seems content to control.
Reynolds passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Biber!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Reynolds scores with a couple of good head shots there.

I looks like Reynolds might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Rusty Reynolds just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Reynolds decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Reynolds is figuring out what he wants to do next.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Reynolds closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reynolds lands in his opponent's guard.

Biber keeps the fight on the outside.

Reynolds shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Reynolds showed some decent athleticism there.
Biber tries to get to full guard but Reynolds has control of the leg.

Reynolds lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Reynolds takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Biber is bucking up trying to escape but Reynolds cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Reynolds postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Biber looks a forlorn figure.

Rusty Reynolds showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Reynolds is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Reynolds gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Biber regains guard.
Reynolds controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

A bit of stalling here from Reynolds.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Biber tries to pull guard but Reynolds holds him up against the cage and eventually Biber drops back down to his feet.

Reynolds tightens his grip and picks Biber up, before dumping him to the ground. Biber manages to land in guard.

Reynolds trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Biber being controlled here, momentarily.
Reynolds is in close to Biber's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Rusty Reynolds is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Reynolds stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Biber swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Biber looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Reynolds passes Biber's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Reynolds has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Rusty Reynolds comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reynolds has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
