The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman fails with the takedown.
Nieds scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nieds connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Coleman's hands.
A combination from Nieds does no damage.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Nieds!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coleman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Coleman fails with the takedown.
Nieds lands with a straight right. Coleman didn't see that one coming.
Nieds avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Nieds as Coleman shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nieds scores with a shot to the body.
Coleman closes the distance and clinches up with Nieds, looking for a takedown. Coleman pushes Nieds against the cage but Nieds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Coleman shoots in for a double leg but Nieds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Coleman fails with an attempt to clinch.

Coleman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Nieds fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Coleman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Coleman is breathing heavily.
Nieds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nieds connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Coleman thows a body shot but no joy.
Horrible takedown by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Nieds which made him look bad.
Nieds paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nieds connects with a looping right hand.
Coleman slips a jab and a cross from Nieds.
Nieds lands a left and a right that send Coleman crashing to the mat, dazed. Nieds thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Coleman is rocked!
Nieds scores with the left hand. Coleman knows he should have avoided that one.
Oh Coleman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nieds misses with a series of wild punches.
Coleman seems to have got his legs back now.
Nieds lands a left and a right that send Coleman crashing to the mat, dazed. Nieds thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nieds scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Coleman doesn't seem bothered though.
Nieds drops Coleman with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Coleman! Nieds dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
