Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Dayley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dawid Kostecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dayley comes into the arena with The Taste Of Ink - The Used blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kostecki moves into range and clinches up with Dayley.
Kostecki tries for a takedown. No joy.

Dayley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kostecki tries to clinch up but Dayley circles away and keeps his distance.
Good leg kick by Dayley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dayley moves out of range of the body kick from Kostecki.
Kostecki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dayley swivels and escapes.
Kostecki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dayley as he jumps to the side.
Max Dayley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dawid Kostecki.
Kostecki throws a series of punches but Dayley avoids them all with ease.
Kostecki looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kostecki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dayley attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Dayley misses with a double jab

and Kostecki counters by moving into the clinch.
Dayley with a knee to the head.

Dayley wants a takedown but no success here.
Kostecki is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dayley is keeping busy.

Dayley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kostecki misses with a two punch combination.
Kostecki attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Dayley rushes Kostecki and presses him up against the cage.
Dayley avoiding damage as Kostecki throws knees to the body.
Kostecki is looking to control Dayley's arms but Dayley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kostecki has his back to the cage.
Kostecki has had enough of the clinch but Dayley keeps him there for the moment.
Dayley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dayley keeps control of Kostecki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dayley drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kostecki gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dayley breaks the clinch.
Kostecki pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dayley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Dayley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kostecki clinches but Dayley breaks the clinch

and Dayley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kostecki looks gassed!

Dayley seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kostecki is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
