The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scylla listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Punkass throws a head kick that Scylla semi-blocks.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A nice leg kick lands there from Punkass.
Scylla stalks Punkass and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Punkass's face. Punkass staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Soral Punkass has been cut.
Punkass lands with a thumping leg kick.
Punkass buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Punkass goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Punkass dodges the punch combination from Scylla.
Scylla rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Punkass moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Scylla lands with an overhand left.
Punkass has managed to clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Punkass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Scylla scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Punkass is rocked!
A decent looking cross lands there for Scylla.
Oh Punkass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punkass tries to close the distance and clinch but Scylla swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Scylla ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Punkass out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Scylla!
Mark Scylla is the new lightweight champion!
