Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krayzie Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rikki Tavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wont Be Long. Tavi has chosen P.O.D - Here comes the boom as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krayzie Bone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rikki Tavi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Bone or perhaps it was just good defense by Tavi which made him look bad. Tavi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bone to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bone throws and elbow that misses. Tavi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bone's guard. Nice move by Tavi! Bone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tavi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tavi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tavi escapes and throws Bone's legs to the side, diving into side control! Tavi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bone to see if he's OK. Tavi working the head with strikes. An elbow from Tavi crashes against the mat.
Tavi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bone is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Tavi lands with a punch from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tavi connects with a nice short shot to Bone's temple. Tavi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ground and pound from Tavi. Tavi sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bone defending well though. Bone gets full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tavi trying to control the position from guard on top but Bone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone wants to sweep but no luck. Tavi is looking to work some ground and pound but Bone has wrist control. Bone is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Tavi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bone is keeping the position for now. Tavi is stalling in the full guard. Tavi trying to control but Bone is working from the bottom. Tavi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tavi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tavi postures up in Bone's guard and throws a big left but Bone blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tavi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tavi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tavi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tavi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bone is breathing heavily. Bone isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tavi stacks Bone on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tavi! Tavi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bone keeps working. Bone manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tavi's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tavi drops an elbow to the side of Bone's head. Tavi trying to mount his opponent but Bone defends it. Bone looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tavi is trying to control the action in half guard but Bone is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bone tries to get to full guard but Tavi has control of the leg. Bone looking for submissions off his back. Tavi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bone has managed to free his arm - good work. Bone on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bone tries to roll over but Tavi keeps him under control. And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Krayzie Bone will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tavi is looking to clinch but Bone is avoiding it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tavi tries to clinch up. Tavi rushes Bone and presses him up against the cage. Tavi stops a takedown attempt from Bone.
Bone goes for a takedown attempt but Tavi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bone closes the distance and clinches up with Tavi, looking for a takedown. Bone pushes Tavi against the cage but Tavi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krayzie Bone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bone circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tavi scores with a shot to the body.

Tavi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Krayzie Bone has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bone takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Krayzie Bone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bone takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tavi lands a hook that stumbles Bone back into the cage. Tavi follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Bone to the canvas! Tavi pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Bone has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Rikki Tavi!
