Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Arthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gunn's entrance music is Remeber The Name. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn is looking to clinch but Arthur is avoiding it.
Arthur ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gunn moves away.
Gunn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Arthur moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Arthur throws a nice looking combination but Gunn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tommy Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Arthur misses.
Arthur just misses with a punch to the body.
Arthur throws a jab when Gunn was well out of range.
Arthur circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gunn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Arthur moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gunn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gunn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Arthur uses his free foot to push down on Gunn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gunn.
Arthur goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gunn is on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Arthur displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gunn throws out the jab.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gunn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Horrible takedown by Gunn or perhaps it was just good defense by Arthur which made him look bad.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Arthur manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gunn manages to get himself to full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gunn tries to bench press Arthur off him but Arthur keeps the position.

Arthur is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gunn knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gunn for a finish.
You can see the frustration on Gunn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Arthur has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gunn has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
