The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soboyt tries for a takedown but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Wilson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Soboyt's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wilson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Soboyt is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard.

Soboyt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
