The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
King lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
St Piere fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
King tries to bum rush St Piere with a series of wild strikes but St Piere uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
King throws a combination. St Piere tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Jorge St Piere has been cut.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
King swinging wildly here.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
King lands a jab-cross combination.
St Piere is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
King works St Piere's body with a nice hook.
King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King lands a left and a right that send St Piere crashing to the mat, dazed. King thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
St Piere is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! King has cracked St Piere with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! King lands another huge swinging hook and St Piere tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save St Piere, before King can land any more shots!
