Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Another Guy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Ricketts ! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ricketts tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ricketts to the ground. Ricketts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ricketts misses with a series of wild punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ricketts swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guy dives in and grabs Ricketts 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ricketts pushes down on Guy's head and hops out. Ricketts should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. A punch combination from Ricketts misses. Ricketts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ricketts wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Another Guy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ricketts pinned against the cage. Ricketts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ricketts wants to control the pace but Guy is squirming around nicely. Guy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Guy misses with a takedown and Ricketts counters with a series of strikes. Guy will be more careful next time no doubt. Ricketts misses with a double jab.

Ricketts manages to get himself to full guard.

Guy tries for a takedown but Ricketts circles away easily enabling Ricketts to counter with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ricketts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ricketts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Guy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Guy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ricketts tries to stand but can't do so whilst Guy controls his leg. Guy is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Guy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Guy wants to control but Ricketts is keeping busy.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Another Guy will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Guy shoots and misses and Ricketts counters with a shoot takedown. Guy fights it but they end up in guard. Ricketts wanted to stand there but Guy had control of the position. Guy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Guy pulls Ricketts in close to prevent any damage.

Guy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guy is pressing down on Ricketts 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ricketts is holding on for now. Guy frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Guy fails to take his opponent's back. Guy controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Guy throwing strikes here but Ricketts is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
A nice elbow there by Guy. Guy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ricketts is looking to escape. Ricketts holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Guy tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
And that's the end of the fight! Another Guy showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ricketts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
