Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hibbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hibbert comes to the cage accompanied by The Used- Taste of Ink. Quinton Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Hibbert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Quinton Jackson!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a front kick that sends Hibbert stumbling back into the cage.
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hibbert fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Hibbert on that attempt.

and Jackson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hibbert's guard.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hibbert has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Hibbert's legs - danger averted.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hibbert is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jackson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hibbert drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Hibbert off! Hibbert jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Hibbert tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hibbert has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hibbert is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jackson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hibbert is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jackson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
