Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corben Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alesha Bojenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Corben Dallas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alesha Bojenko! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bojenko shoots for a takedown but Dallas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bojenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dallas paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bojenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Dallas circles away.
Dallas misses with a takedown and Bojenko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dallas won't be happy with that. Bojenko trying to control the action but Dallas is working from the bottom. Bojenko tries to stand but Dallas is controlling his head. Dallas is looking to regain half guard here but Bojenko keeps moving and retains side control. Dallas is trying to control Bojenko's posture but Bojenko avoids it. That's one minute gone in the round. Bojenko wants to stand but Dallas has his arm trapped. Dallas is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dallas can't do much from the bottom here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bojenko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bojenko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dallas looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dallas looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dallas! Dallas lands some shots froms side control. Bojenko looks gassed! Dallas stands up and we're back to a striking position. Dallas gets a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dallas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dallas is trying to work for a kimura but Bojenko is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dallas frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bojenko tries to get back to half guard but can't. A nice elbow there by Dallas. Dallas dominating with strikes here. Dallas is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bojenko has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dallas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bojenko is looking to escape. Dallas is working for a guillotine from mount but Bojenko frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dallas thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Bojenko is desperately trying to improve his position but Dallas has a good base and remains in mount. Bojenko wants to control but Dallas is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corben Dallas dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dallas sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bojenko defending well though. Bojenko is refusing to be controlled, as Dallas sits in half guard. Dallas is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dallas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dallas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bojenko manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bojenko pushes Dallas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dallas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Bojenko is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dallas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dallas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dallas wants to control but Bojenko is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bojenko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dallas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bojenko tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dallas presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Bojenko gets back to half guard. Dallas is trying to work for a kimura but Bojenko is defending well.
Bojenko looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dallas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dallas is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bojenko reverses the position - he's now on top in Dallas's guard. Dallas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bojenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dallas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bojenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bojenko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bojenko trying to control but Dallas is working from the bottom. Dallas trying to control the position.

Corben Dallas dominated that second round. That's time! Dallas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Bojenko with a poor takedown so Dallas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Dallas tries to free his leg and advance position but Bojenko is retaining full guard. Bojenko controls Dallas momentarily but Dallas frees himself. Dallas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bojenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dallas drops back looking for a leg! Bojenko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bojenko manages to kick Dallas off! Dallas jumps back into Bojenko's guard. Bojenko keeping full guard, as Dallas tries to pass. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dallas wants to control from the top but Bojenko keeps moving. Dallas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bojenko dives on top into guard. Bojenko forces his way into half guard. Bojenko tries to stand and escape but Dallas is controlling the position. Dallas tries to get to full guard but Bojenko has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dallas actively working from the bottom here. Bojenko working Dallas over with strikes. Dallas is trying to maintain the position but Bojenko is very close to passing his half guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dallas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bojenko is staying active underneath Dallas, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Corben Dallas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bojenko is pressing down on Dallas's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dallas trying to control but Bojenko is working from the bottom.

Bojenko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dallas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dallas wants to pass the guard but Bojenko is keeping the position. Alesha Bojenko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dallas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Corben Dallas showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dallas has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
