The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McNeil drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McNeil trying to control the position from guard on top but Crodonilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McNeil prevents Crodonilson from getting back to his feet.
McNeil is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
McNeil postures up in Crodonilson's guard and throws a big left but Crodonilson blocks it.
McNeil wants to pass the guard but Crodonilson is keeping the position.
McNeil trying to control but Crodonilson is working from the bottom.
McNeil throws and elbow that misses. Crodonilson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McNeil's guard. Nice move by Crodonilson!

McNeil is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Crodonilson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

McNeil tries to roll over but Crodonilson keeps him under control.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

McNeil landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Crodonilson wants to get back to his feet.
McNeil wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crodonilson keeps working.

Crodonilson stuns McNeil with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

McNeil walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McNeil has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Crodonilson.

McNeil throws a series of punches but Crodonilson avoids them all with ease.

McNeil walks forward, straight into a front kick from Crodonilson.
Crodonilson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McNeil. That did some damage!
McNeil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crodonilson manages to avoid it.
Crodonilson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

McNeil throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Crodonilson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Crodonilson throws the left hand but McNeil avoids the punch easily.
Crodonilson feints and then cracks McNeil's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McNeil down.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wilson Crodonilson.
I think Crodonilson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
