Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charlie Murpy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Murpy blocks the leg kick.
Murpy moves out of range of the body kick.
The fighters circling - Murpy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No joy there for Albers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Murpy shoots for a takedown but Albers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Albers listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Albers throws a head kick but Murpy moves out of range.
Murpy fails with the takedown.
Albers thuds a left hand into Murpy's body.
Albers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murpy manages to avoid it.
Murpy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Albers as he avoids it easily.
Virgil Albers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Murpy.
Albers dodges the punch combination from Murpy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Albers buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Albers misses with a two punch combination.
Albers defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Murpy.
Nice body punch from Albers.
Albers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Albers. No joy for Murpy on that attempt.
Albers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Murpy.

Albers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Albers lands a nice shot to the body.
Murpy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Murpy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Albers.
Charlie Murpy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Albers closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Murpy out cold! Murpy corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
