Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Woo in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Woo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Woo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Woo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Woo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
An elbow from Woo crashes against the mat.
Woo in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Woo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Woo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Holmes some visible discomfort.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Woo is trying to get an arm triangle but Holmes is defending well.

Woo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Holmes has escaped the position, nice work there.
Woo slows the pace down.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Woo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Woo in side control, throwing shots but Holmes defends.

Woo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Holmes keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holmes is trying to improve his position.
An elbow from Woo crashes against the mat.
Holmes wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Woo looks for a takedown but Holmes sprawls well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Woo is defended easily by Holmes.
Good exchange - Holmes coming out on top.

It looks like Mr Woo has been cut.
Woo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holmes circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Woo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holmes stuffs the takedown.
Gary Holmes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Woo moves forwards but Holmes connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Woo shoots for a double leg takedown but Holmes sprawls well. He's pushed Woo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Woo is breathing heavily.
Woo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Holmes as Woo shoots in.
Holmes slaps away a takedown attempt from Woo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Woo will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Holmes keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Woo closes the distance and clinches up with Holmes, looking for a takedown. Woo pushes Holmes against the cage but Holmes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Woo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Woo shoots in looking for a takedown. Holmes tries to sprawl out of it but Woo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holmes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Woo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Woo with that takedown attempt.
Woo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Holmes throws a right and a left that Woo avoids nicely.
Mr Woo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Holmes lands a left and a right that send Woo crashing to the mat, dazed. Holmes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Woo is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Holmes throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mr Woo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Holmes lands with a big right hook that stumbles Woo - he's out on his feet here! Holmes follows up with another monster hook that separates Woo from consciousness! Woo falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Holmes stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
