Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miller Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JJ Dixon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miller Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JJ Dixon! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dixon scores with a hook to the body. Freeman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Dixon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Freeman trying to control but Dixon is working from the bottom. Freeman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dixon keeping full guard, as Freeman tries to pass. Freeman wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving. Dixon is trying to keep Freeman in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dixon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Freeman is trying to control but can't.
Dixon is looking to take a break and control but Freeman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dixon not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Freeman's head. Freeman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dixon wants to free his trapped foot but Freeman is holding on for dear life with his legs. Freeman is pressing down on Dixon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dixon stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Freeman throws up his legs and catches Dixon in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Dixon tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Freeman! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Miller Freeman!
