Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Huey Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Huey Law! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Sanchez fails to pull guard.
Law landing knees to the head.
Law gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sanchez regains guard.
Sanchez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sanchez is pulling down on Law's head. It's preventing any offense from Law, at least for the moment. Sanchez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanchez has a closed guard, preventing Law from standing up. Law gets to his feet. Sanchez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. Law lands a jab. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Law sprawls well. Law wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet. Law connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Law rushes Sanchez and presses him up against the cage. Sanchez is pressed up against the cage. Law has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sanchez down to the mat. Sanchez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Sanchez tries to clinch but Law moves away and Law counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Law manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sanchez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Law walks away with a smile on his face. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Huey Law has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Sanchez. Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Law connects with the punch. Law clinches with his opponent.
Law lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sanchez backwards. Law with a knee to the head.
Law wants the takedown. Sanchez is fighting it off but Law persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sanchez's guard against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Law tries to stand but Sanchez is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez has his foot on Law's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Law works his way back into a safe position though. Law will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sanchez is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Law decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Law lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Law. Law is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Law shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanchez as he jumps to the side. A head kick misses from Sanchez. Law avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Law looks to land a combination. Sanchez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Sanchez tries to clinch up and Law counters with a nice uppercut. Sanchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Law tries to avoid it but Sanchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Law to the ground. Law escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Law has closed the distance and engaged Sanchez in a clinch.

Sanchez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Law pulls him back up using the underhooks. Law gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. And that's the end of the fight! Huey Law showed his dominance in that final round. Well Law has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
