The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt closes the distance and clinches up with Jess, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes Jess against the cage but Jess circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jess scores with a takedown into Hunt's guard.

Hunt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hunt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hunt is looking for a triangle but Jess pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jess postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hunt wants to sweep but no luck.
Hunt has momentary wrist control but Jess slips an elbow through the middle.
Hunt is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jess frees his head nicely. Oh but Hunt has switched to an armbar! Jess is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
