Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Moriarty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Shlemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moriarty comes to the ring accompanied by Broken Dreams. Shlemenko has chosen Young Jeezy feat. Busta Rhymes - love it as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Moriarty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Shlemenko! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moriarty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Moriarty shoots in and bounces Shlemenko off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Moriarty wants to pass the guard but Shlemenko is keeping the position. Moriarty trying to control but Shlemenko is working from the bottom. Shlemenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shlemenko has a closed guard, preventing Moriarty from standing up. Shlemenko wants to control but Moriarty passes easily into half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shlemenko fails in his attempt to clinch. Moriarty throws a head kick but Shlemenko moves out of range.
Moriarty shoots in looking for a takedown. Shlemenko tries to sprawl out of it but Moriarty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Shlemenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Shlemenko tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shlemenko tries to clinch up but Moriarty circles away and keeps his distance. Moriarty shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shlemenko as he jumps to the side. Moriarty thows a body shot but no joy. Moriarty clinches but Shlemenko breaks the clinch and Shlemenko counters by moving into the clinch. Moriarty looking to slow down the pace here. Shlemenko lands a knee to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moriarty stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Moriarty's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Moriarty plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Shlemenko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shlemenko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Moriarty is breathing heavily. Shlemenko controlling from mount. Moriarty is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Shlemenko looking to control but Moriarty is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Shlemenko jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Moriarty is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Moriarty and Shlemenko has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Moriarty sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Shlemenko tries to stand but can't do so whilst Moriarty controls his leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that James Moriarty will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
An inside leg kick lands from Moriarty. Shlemenko doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Moriarty counter with a right hand. Moriarty with a poor takedown and Shlemenko counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Moriarty tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Moriarty is trying to break free. Shlemenko misses with a knee strike.
Moriarty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shlemenko moves into the clinch successfully.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shlemenko manages to pull guard.
Moriarty has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Moriarty trying to control the position from guard on top but Shlemenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moriarty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Shlemenko tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shlemenko controls Moriarty momentarily but Moriarty frees himself. Shlemenko is trying to hold Moriarty in close to prevent damage but Moriarty has managed to pass into half guard.
Shlemenko is staying active underneath Moriarty, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moriarty has his takedown stuffed and Shlemenko counters with a big head kick but Moriarty shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Moriarty. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shlemenko darts in trying to clinch and Moriarty counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moriarty.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moriarty has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shlemenko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Moriarty wants to break the clinch but can't.
Shlemenko keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Moriarty's efforts to push away. Shlemenko manages to pull guard.
Shlemenko has his feet on Moriarty's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. James Moriarty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moriarty pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Moriarty shoots and misses and Shlemenko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shlemenko. Shlemenko won't allow Moriarty to sweep him here. Shlemenko's corner is telling him to maintain position. Moriarty keeping moving, preventing Shlemenko from controlling successfully. Moriarty manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Moriarty wants to control but instead Shlemenko manages to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Shlemenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

James Moriarty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Shlemenko. Shlemenko looking to throw knees to the head but Moriarty is blocking nicely.

Moriarty has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shlemenko uses from the top position. Moriarty throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Shlemenko trying to control but Moriarty is working from the bottom. Shlemenko is looking to stand up but Moriarty won't let him. Moriarty lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shlemenko! Moriarty looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moriarty prevents Shlemenko from improving his position. Shlemenko won't allow Moriarty to pass to mount. Shlemenko is not content to let Moriarty control the position. Moriarty not doing much here.
Moriarty is looking for a kimura but Shlemenko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Moriarty to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Moriarty decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Shlemenko closes the distance looking to clinch and Moriarty counters by moving into the clinch. Moriarty drops down looking for an ankle pick but Shlemenko pulls his leg out and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shlemenko stuffs the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! James Moriarty showed his dominance in that final round. I think Moriarty has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
