Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Gabriel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Derek Richards!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards drops Gabriel with a beautiful combination! Gabriel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Richards is looking for the KO!
Gabriel is rocked!
It looks like Justin Gabriel has been cut.
Richards lands an overhand right.
Oh Gabriel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gabriel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Richards waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gabriel.
Gabriel throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gabriel seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice takedown defense from Richards. No joy for Gabriel on that attempt.
Richards misses with a series of wild punches.
Richards misses with an uppercut. Gabriel saw that one coming.
Richards scores with a jab.
Gabriel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gabriel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gabriel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Richards sprawls well. Richards wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gabriel gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Gabriel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed right hand from Richards misses the target.
Gabriel shoots in looking for a takedown. Richards tries to sprawl out of it but Gabriel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Richards manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Richards thows a left - swing and a miss!

Gabriel moves in looking to clinch but Richards pushes him off.
Gabriel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A big right from Richards misses.
Gabriel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Richards counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Richards throws a looping overhand right but Gabriel ducks down to avoid it.
Richards blocks a head kick by Gabriel.
Gabriel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Richards might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Richards throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gabriel moves away from the strike by Richards.
Richards throws a body punch but Gabriel moves out of range.
Richards scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gabriel doesn't seem bothered though.
Richards lands with a shot to the body.
Gabriel is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Richards swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Richards lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Richards scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gabriel doesn't seem bothered though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Decent striking displayed by Richards there.
Justin Gabriel's cut is getting worse.
Richards cracks a nice hook into Gabriel's ribs.
Gabriel takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gabriel takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Richards closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Gabriel out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
