The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walsh misses with a hook. Pignon ducked under it nicely. Walsh tries to bum rush Pignon with a series of wild strikes but Pignon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walsh takes a swing at Pignon's ribcage but misses. Walsh throws a series of punches but Pignon moves out of range. Walsh stuffs the takedown. Walsh throws a shot from downtown. Pignon moves away and avoids it. Pignon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pignon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walsh circles away. Walsh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pignon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
