Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kruci Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kishion Edman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kishion Edman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kruci Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kishion Edman! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Burns thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Burns scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Burns seems to be working for a kimura but Edman defends the submission attempt. Edman tries to kick Burns off but Burns keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Burns drops an elbow to the side of Edman's head. Edman trying to control from the bottom.
Burns is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Edman sees it coming and defends easily. Edman is looking to escape. Edman looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Edman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Burns's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Burns's back! Burns controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad spot.
Edman lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Burns.
Edman lands an elbow to the side of the head. Edman misses with punches from the back. Burns holding on to Edman's left wrist, preventing the choke. Burns just trying to survive but Edman is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Edman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burns tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burns just trying to survive but Edman is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Burns has hold of Edman's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts. Burns looking very determined here, making life difficult for Edman.
Burns looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Burns looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Edman gets his hands free as Burns looks to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Kruci Burns just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Burns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Edman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Burns tries to advance to mount but can't. Burns is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Edman's shoulder. That is not cool. Burns wants to control but Edman is keeping him busy. Edman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Burns asserts his dominance and retains side control. Edman wants to control but Burns postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Edman takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
A lull in the action here. Burns working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Edman tries to improve position but can't. Edman trying to remain calm as Burns controls from the top position. Edman regains half guard there - taking advantage of Burns's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burns prevents Edman from standing back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kruci Burns dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Edman tries to clinch up. Burns swats away the attempt to clinch by Edman. Edman tries for a takedown but Burns circles away easily and Burns counters with a single leg into guard. Edman didn't expect that. Burns trying to control but Edman is working from the bottom. Burns wants to pass the guard but Edman is keeping the position. Burns is working hard here to advance position. Burns drops back, looking for a kneebar! Edman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Edman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Edman! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Edman has control of an arm but Burns manages to advance to Edman's back! Burns has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Edman is defending well but eventually Burns manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Edman has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kruci Burns!
