The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnston shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gracie is trying to defend but Johnston finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gracie trying to hold on to Johnston's head to control him but Johnston postures up.
Johnston is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Gracie has managed to free his arm - good work. Gracie is pressing down on Johnston's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Gracie has his hands clasped together but Johnston extends an breaks Gracie's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar!
