Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Gonzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Tuisku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuisku closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gonzo to the mat! Gonzo manages to get full guard.

Tuisku breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tuisku tries for a takedown but Gonzo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Gonzo tries to kick Tuisku off but Tuisku keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Gonzo makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Gonzo throws a sloppy head kick and Tuisku moves out of range easily.

and Tuisku counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gonzo is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Gonzo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Tuisku's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gonzo connects with a nice short shot to Tuisku's temple.

Gonzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tuisku swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Antti Tuisku showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Gonzo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tuisku. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gabriel Gonzo.
I think Tuisku has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
