Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Qura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qura's entrance music is Alexisonfire - Young Cardinals. A fine choice. George Qura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qura bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McFly throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Qura shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
McFly throws a series of punches but Qura moves out of range.
McFly throws a right and a left that Qura avoids nicely.
McFly stuffs the takedown attempt from Qura. Qura gets slowly back to his feet.
Qura closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
McFly is trying to improve his position.
Qura swings around for an armbar but McFly sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Qura's guard.

McFly not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

and Qura counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McFly thinking.
McFly uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Qura has time to react.

Qura takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Qura is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McFly knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFly pushes Qura away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Qura gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Qura is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, McFly has escaped the position, nice work there.
McFly sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Qura wants to free his trapped foot but McFly is holding on for dear life with his legs.
McFly is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Qura's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Qura's back!
