The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guzman shoots in and drives through. A sprawls well.
A has his takedown stuffed
and Guzman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Guzman.
A keeping moving, preventing Guzman from controlling successfully.
Guzman could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guzman won't allow A to sweep him here.
A lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Guzman trying to control but A is working from the bottom.
A wants to sweep but no luck.
Guzman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guzman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Guzman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts A as he jumps to the side.

and Guzman counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Guzman wants to free his trapped foot but A is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Guzman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in A's guard.
