Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca brasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Reyes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luca brasi!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
brasi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Reyes has taken the fight to the clinch.
brasi is pressed up against the cage. Reyes has hold of a leg and is looking to drag brasi down to the mat. brasi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
brasi fails with a takedown attempt.
Reyes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so brasi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
brasi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyes is trying to control the position but brasi postures up.
Reyes pulls brasi in close to prevent any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reyes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as brasi controls the pace.
brasi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reyes is keeping the position for now.
brasi trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Reyes wants to sweep here but brasi controlling him for the moment.
brasi working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Reyes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
brasi sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Let's hope that brasi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

brasi thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reyes wants to sweep but no luck.
brasi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
brasi trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
brasi's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Luca brasi just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
brasi swats away the attempt to clinch by Reyes.
Reyes misses with a takedown

and brasi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Reyes won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Reyes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reyes is breathing heavily.

brasi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

brasi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no brasi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Reyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for brasi on the ground.
brasi is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Reyes's shoulder. That is not cool.
Reyes is looking to reverse the position.
brasi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Reyes to see if he's OK.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
brasi trying to control the position but Reyes is working away.
brasi works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

brasi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Reyes is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. brasi yanks on the arm and Reyes is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by brasi.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Luca brasi!
