Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between KING KONG (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, KING KONG!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Davidson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts KONG as he jumps to the side.

KONG drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Davidson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
KONG is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
KONG tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Davidson smiles and moves away.

Davidson is pressed up against the cage. KONG has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Davidson down to the mat. Davidson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Davidson thuds his right hand into KONG's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

KONG can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davidson is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Poor strikes thrown by KONG there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Davidson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

KONG is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davidson is aware though and is defending well.

David Davidson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Davidson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
