Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Burov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yurgi Invokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yurgi Invokov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Invokov with that takedown attempt. Burov clinches up with Invokov and pushes him back against the cage. Invokov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burov just stands there and leans against the cage. Burov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Burov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Invokov backwards. Burov stalling the fight.
Burov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Burov wants to control from the top but Invokov keeps moving. Burov slips nicely into half guard. Burov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Invokov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Burov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Burov is working for a kimura here but Invokov manages to reverse the position and he's now in Burov's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Invokov passes Burov's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Invokov is working for a kimura but Burov is defending it quite comfortably.

Burov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Invokov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Invokov's back! You can see the frustration on Invokov's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Burov has the hooks in. Invokov is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Burov passes his arm under Invokov's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Invokov taps!
