Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lancett Cridle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Strummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cridle comes to the cage accompanied by Counterfeit by Limp Bizkit. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lancett Cridle! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Strummer! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strummer shoots in for a takedown but Cridle shows good takedown defense. Joe Strummer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strummer fails to land the takedown. Strummer gets caught flat footed, as Cridle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Strummer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cridle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cridle is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Strummer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Strummer has escaped and now he's on top! Strummer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cridle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cridle lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Strummer is looking to work some ground and pound but Cridle has wrist control. Strummer postures up in Cridle's guard and throws a big left but Cridle blocks it. Cridle looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Strummer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cridle swivels though and keeps the full guard. Strummer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Strummer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cridle to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Strummer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cridle pulls down on the head and he's put Strummer to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lancett Cridle! Lancett Cridle retains his lightweight title!
