Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cain Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by Sub-Mission. Coleman has chosen Eminem - Mosh as his entrance music. Tito Coleman acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Cain Mir! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tito Coleman! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir is looking to land body kicks. Mir shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coleman's guard. Coleman wants to get back to his feet but Mir is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Coleman keeping moving, preventing Mir from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mir throwing strikes from guard but Coleman blocks nicely. Mir slips nicely into half guard. Coleman is trying to stand back up but Mir is controlling him

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mir scores with a leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Coleman. Mir throws a lazy right hand but Coleman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A nice combination there by Coleman.
Coleman defending well as Mir loads up on a big left hand. Mir feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Coleman's calf.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir scores with a push kick. Mir bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Coleman is trying to work for a sweep but Mir has mounted him! Mir looking to control and managing it successfully. Coleman slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coleman has hold of Mir's hands but Mir slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Coleman wants to improve his position but Mir is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir wants to take a breather but Coleman is having none of it. Mir is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Coleman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mir. Mir is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Coleman tries to kick Mir off but Mir keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Mir looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Coleman! Coleman is squirming around, avoiding Mir's attempts to control the action. Mir content just to control the position here. Mir lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Coleman is bucking up trying to escape but Mir cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coleman is in a horrible position here. Mir smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Cain Mir dominated that round. That's time! Mir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Coleman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mir tries to score with a low kick but Coleman moves his leg out of the way. Coleman throws a leg kick but Mir moved away. Coleman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mir.
Coleman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mir. Mir comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mir takes a swing at Coleman's ribcage but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coleman throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mir scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Coleman doesn't seem bothered though. Mir uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coleman.

Mir shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mir sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Coleman defending well though. Mir is trying to control. Coleman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Coleman tries to kick Mir off but Mir keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Mir thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Coleman to regain full guard. Coleman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mir cracks Coleman with a solid left hand. Coleman keeping moving, preventing Mir from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman has his foot on Mir's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mir works his way back into a safe position though. Coleman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mir is pressing down on Coleman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Coleman postures up.
Mir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mir throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Coleman escapes and throws Mir's legs to the side, diving into side control! Mir can't do much from the bottom here. Mir tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Coleman presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir is just holding on here. Coleman manages to take his back.
Mir trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Mir wriggles onto his back under a barage of strikes. Coleman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mir can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Coleman tries to control but Mir wriggling away. Mir sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mir wants to control but Coleman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mir has his hands clasped together around Coleman's back. He's all about the action. Mir tries to get to full guard but Coleman has control of the leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Coleman connects with a nice short shot to Mir's temple. Coleman stands up out of the half guard. Mir throws a half hearted mid kick. Coleman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Cain Mir dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mir thumps Coleman with a low kick. Coleman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Coleman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Coleman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Coleman throws a good cross that connects.

and Mir counters with a series of strikes. Coleman will be more careful next time no doubt. Mir ducks under a wild hook from Coleman. Coleman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Coleman swivels and escapes. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Coleman!
Mir cracks Coleman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Mir checks a leg kick nicely. Mir feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Coleman's calf. Mir throws a wild body kick that Coleman sees coming a mile off. No joy there for Coleman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big left from Mir misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Coleman. Mir fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cain Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mir avoids a punch combination nicely.
Coleman throws a hook but Mir blocks it. Coleman misses with a double jab
letting Mir counter with a right hand. Coleman tries to land a leg kick but Mir saw it coming and moves away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coleman throws out the jab. A clash of legs there as Mir blocks the low kick. Mir looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Coleman throws the left hand but Mir avoids the punch easily. Mir uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Coleman has time to react. Coleman looks to land a left hand but Mir moved out of range nicely. Mir feints and as Coleman raises his hands in defense, Mir changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Coleman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Coleman can't keep his opponent in guard - Mir advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mir is working for a kimura but Coleman is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mir thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Still in half guard, Mir seems content to control. Coleman wants to get back to his feet.

Cain Mir clearly takes that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mir throws a sloppy head kick and Coleman moves out of range easily. Mir blocks a low kick nicely. Coleman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Coleman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Coleman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mir misses with a straight left. A leg kick checked by Mir. Mir's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mir duly obliges. Coleman keeps the fight on the outside. Coleman just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman throws a looping overhand right but Mir ducks down to avoid it. Coleman connects with a jab. Mir scores with a sloppy right hand. Coleman should have avoided that one. Coleman throws a right and a left that Mir avoids nicely. Mir tries to clinch up but Coleman circles away and keeps his distance. Coleman throws out a powerful jab. A combination from Mir does no damage. Coleman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mir wants to clinch up but Coleman keeps it at a distance. Good work by Coleman as he checks the leg kick. Coleman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir lands a glancing blow to the side of Coleman's head. Mir looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Coleman wants to get back to full guard. Mir thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Coleman's head. Coleman trying to control here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir forces his way into half guard. Mir winds up and cracks Coleman with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mir is trying to control. Coleman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Coleman slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mir manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Coleman is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Coleman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Coleman working the head and body with strikes. Mir looking for a kimura from the bottom but Coleman passes into side control! Coleman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cain Mir is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mir tries to bench press Coleman off him but Coleman keeps the position. Mir is working hard here to advance position.
And that's the end of the fight! Cain Mir showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mir has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
