Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cho Kli Trayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cho Kli Trayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bob Rocket!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trayne tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Trayne tries to bum rush Rocket with a series of wild strikes but Rocket uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Trayne shoots for a takedown but Rocket saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Trayne throws a low kick but Rocket avoids it.
Trayne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rocket is looking to clinch but Trayne is avoiding it.

Rocket feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rocket postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rocket distracts Trayne with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Trayne controlling the position.
Rocket wants to stand but Trayne has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rocket wants to control from the top but Trayne keeps moving.

Trayne controls Rocket momentarily but Rocket frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Trayne tries to keep at a distance but Rocket has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rocket lands a nice uppercut.
Rocket wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Rocket manages to break the clinch.
Bob Rocket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trayne tries a head kick but it misses.
Rocket with a poor takedown

and Trayne counters with a single leg into guard. Rocket didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rocket wants to stand but Trayne is controlling the position.

Trayne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Trayne is breathing heavily.
Trayne trying to control but Rocket is working from the bottom.
Rocket scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.

Rocket lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Rocket keeping full guard, as Trayne tries to pass.
Rocket wants to sweep but no luck.
Rocket striking off his back, scoring a few points.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rocket throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rocket looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rocket drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rocket stands and steps away. Trayne gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rocket shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rocket not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Trayne is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rocket scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rocket trying to control from half guard but Trayne is working away.
Rocket throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Trayne tries to get to full guard but Rocket has control of the leg.

Rocket gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Trayne shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rocket as he avoids it easily.

Rocket closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rocket lands in his opponent's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Trayne is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Rocket tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Trayne tightens his grip and picks Rocket up, before dumping him to the ground. Rocket manages to land in guard.
Trayne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rocket swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rocket pushes Trayne off and scrambles back to his feet.

Rocket looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rocket stops Trayne from getting back to his feet.
Rocket is looking to stall here but Trayne recovers full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Rocket dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Trayne fails with the takedown

and Rocket counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rocket decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Trayne, up you get!
Rocket misses with a takedown

and Trayne counters by clinching up.
Rocket scores with a shoulder strike.
Trayne blocks an elbow strike from Rocket.
Trayne stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Rocket has a couple of punches blocked by Trayne.

Trayne breaks the clinch.
Rocket circles away from the clinch attempt.
Trayne tries to clinch up but Rocket circles away and keeps his distance.
Rocket dives in and grabs Trayne's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trayne pushes down on Rocket's head and hops out.
Trayne tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rocket swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Trayne displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rocket.
Cho Kli Trayne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Rocket.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Trayne counters with a shoot takedown. Rocket fights it but they end up in guard.

Trayne decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Trayne moves into range and clinches up with Rocket.
Trayne is trying to force a seperation but Rocket has the dominant position.
Rocket swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Rocket gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Trayne.
Trayne can't break the clinch.

Rocket pulls guard effortlessly.
Rocket lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Rocket keeping moving, preventing Trayne from controlling successfully.
Rocket is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rocket is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rocket throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Rocket has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Trayne off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Rocket misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rocket scores with a kick to the midsection.
Rocket plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Trayne closes the distance and pushes Rocket back into the cage.
Trayne prevents a takedown attempt there.
Trayne tries to stall but Rocket uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Rocket looking to throw knees to the head but Trayne is blocking nicely.

Trayne keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rocket's efforts to push away.
Trayne tries to pull guard but Rocket holds him up against the cage and eventually Trayne drops back down to his feet.

Trayne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rocket misses with a takedown attempt

so Trayne counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Trayne looking to pass the guard.
Rocket is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Trayne is controlling him.
Trayne wants to control from the top but Rocket keeps moving.
Trayne pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rocket is keeping the position for now.
Trayne in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Rocket pushes Trayne off and gets back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Trayne.

Rocket closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Trayne did well to prevent Rocket getting side control.
Rocket looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Rocket is trying to control. Trayne wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Rocket slips a nice elbow through Trayne's hands, connecting with Trayne's forehead.
Rocket not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rocket decides to stand and escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cho Kli Trayne will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Trayne looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Trayne tries to clinch up but Rocket circles away and keeps his distance.
Rocket shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trayne defends it nicely.
Rocket shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trayne pinned against the cage. Trayne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Trayne throws a low kick but Rocket avoids it.
Trayne fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown by Rocket or perhaps it was just good defense by Trayne which made him look bad.
Cho Kli Trayne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Rocket.
Rocket pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trayne looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rocket decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Trayne manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Rocket is in close to Trayne's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Bob Rocket has got the better of the ground game so far.

Trayne works his way to full guard. Good work.

Trayne is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rocket is controlling him.
Rocket looking to sit in guard and control but Trayne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Rocket tries to strike from the bottom.
Rocket looking for a sweep. Not yet Rocket, not yet.
Trayne trying to control the position from guard on top but Rocket is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rocket wants to hit a switch here but Trayne passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rocket there!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Trayne lands a heavy elbow.
Rocket is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rocket is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rocket tries to buck Trayne off but he can't manage it.
Trayne avoids the attempt from Rocket to control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bob Rocket comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rocket has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
