Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luscious Canonfodder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Taua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taua is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Semaphore. Ricardo Taua is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Canonfodder moves away.
A telegraphed right hand from Canonfodder misses the target.
Canonfodder tries to clinch up.
Taua looks to land a combination but Canonfodder avoids it well.

Taua stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taua wants it to stay on the feet.

Taua creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Canonfodder sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Canonfodder counters with a body kick that stops Taua in his tracks momentarily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Canonfodder throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Taua's head.
Canonfodder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Canonfodder postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Taua to stand up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Canonfodder in particular looking to stall.
