The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre looks for a takedown but Davis sprawls well.
Davis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Davis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
St Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Davis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davis lands in his opponent's guard.

Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St Pierre on the ground.

St Pierre has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Davis tries to get out of the position.

St Pierre seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Davis is holding on tight.
Davis is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, St Pierre has taken his back.
Davis is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if St Pierre gets his way!
St Pierre is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Davis won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips St Pierre off his unconscious opponent!
