The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Gracielo.
McGordon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McGordon throws a one two combo.

It looks like Alvaro Gracielo has been cut.
McGordon moves into range and connects with a jab.
McGordon doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracielo circles away.
Gracielo shoots in for a double leg but McGordon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McGordon just misses with a punch to the body.
McGordon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracielo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGordon tries to clinch up but Gracielo circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracielo moves out of range as McGordon strikes.
Gracielo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McGordon swivels and escapes.

McGordon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracielo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGordon.
Gracielo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

McGordon throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracielo.

McGordon throws a nice looking combination but Gracielo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

McGordon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Gracielo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

McGordon is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

McGordon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracielo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McGordon thows a body shot but no joy.
McGordon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracielo moves away.

McGordon turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McGordon sizes up Gracielo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McGordon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Alvaro Gracielo's cut is getting worse.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good leg kick by McGordon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gracielo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Gracielo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McGordon moves in looking to clinch but Gracielo pushes him off.
McGordon throws a nice looking combination but Gracielo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

McGordon feints and then cracks Gracielo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracielo down.
McGordon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracielo on the side of the head.

McGordon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McGordon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gracielo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McGordon lands with a shot to the body.
McGordon lands a really nice looking cross but Gracielo seems unphased.

Alvaro Gracielo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A nice leg kick lands there from McGordon.
McGordon tries to clinch there but Gracielo circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracielo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McGordon scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gracielo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McGordon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

McGordon lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Gracielo is looking to close the distance but McGordon sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Gracielo crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Gracielo is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
