Thompson looks for the body kick but Chekutimi saw that one coming.
A slapping leg kick lands for Thompson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thompson lands a big head kick that sends Chekutimi tumbling to the mat! Thompson takes a step backwards and waves Chekutimi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Koya Chekutimi has been cut.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Thompson engages and cracks Chekutimi with a massive lead left hook - Chekutimi tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Thompson is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
