Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Puukko Punkkari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stones has chosen I came to bring the pain! as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stones misses with a wild combination.
Punkkari misses with a double jab.
Punkkari tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Nice takedown defense from Stones. No joy for Punkkari on that attempt.
Punkkari lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Punkkari connects with a right hand. Stones shakes it off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Punkkari counters with a thumping low kick.
Punkkari really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Punkkari tries to close the distance and clinch but Stones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Punkkari decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stones's guard.

Punkkari drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Punkkari has Stones in his guard.
Stones is looking to stand up but Punkkari won't let him.
Punkkari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Punkkari is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Punkkari working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Punkkari blocks Stones's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Punkkari will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Punkkari has hold of Stones's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Stones wants to hold on but Punkkari pushes him away.
Punkkari jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stones manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Punkkari tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Punkkari is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Stones is trying to escape and Punkkari transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Stones is forced to tap! Nice work there by Punkkari! Very nice indeed!
