Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obi Kanobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McGrady's choice of entrance music: Scotland The Brave. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, William McGrady! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanobi stuffs the takedown attempt from McGrady. McGrady gets slowly back to his feet. Kanobi takes the fight into the clinch. Kanobi utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Kanobi landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kanobi fails in his attempt to clinch. McGrady closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kanobi is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, if McGrady is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

McGrady takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McGrady looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kanobi wants to clinch. McGrady circles away from the clinch attempt.

Obi Kanobi dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kanobi fails in his attempt to clinch. McGrady changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kanobi tries to avoid it but McGrady manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kanobi to the ground. Kanobi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kanobi tries to close the distance and clinch up but McGrady swats him away and circles back towards the center. McGrady avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kanobi tries to clinch but McGrady is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Kanobi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McGrady fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kanobi avoids it really well and circles away. Kanobi tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGrady slaps away a takedown attempt from Kanobi, before circling back to the center of the mat. McGrady scores with a nice takedown into half guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. McGrady seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kanobi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. McGrady takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. McGrady thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kanobi tries to roll over but McGrady keeps him under control. Kanobi blocking the ground and pound attempt from McGrady. William McGrady has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! McGrady has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kanobi has one foot on McGrady's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. McGrady keeps the fight on the outside. Kanobi tries to clinch there but McGrady circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McGrady misses with a takedown attempt - Kanobi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to William McGrady. I think Kanobi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
