Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Minotauro Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and emma riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nogueira might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter. emma riley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
riley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nogueira to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Nogueira advances to half guard.
riley tries to roll over but Nogueira keeps him under control.
riley misses with some strikes from the bottom.
riley is looking for a sweep. Nogueira is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nogueira is pressing down on riley's thigh, looking to free his foot. riley is holding on for now.
Nogueira is working hard here to advance position.
riley tries to roll over but Nogueira keeps him under control.
Nogueira trying to control from half guard but riley is working away.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
riley closes the distance and lands a one-two.
riley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nogueira.
riley clinches with his opponent.

riley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nogueira can't fight it off and eventually riley manages to take the fight to the floor. Nogueira looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nogueira lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for riley!
Nogueira moves to the back position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
riley is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Nogueira trying to control momentarily.
riley is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Nogueira gets his way!
Nogueira wants to control but riley is keeping busy.

riley is in bad spot here.

riley prevents Nogueira from getting a body triangle.
Nogueira biding his time, looking for the opening.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nogueira is trying to control but riley is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Minotauro Nogueira just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
riley gets in close and instigates a clinch.
riley jumps guard and drags Nogueira to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Nogueira trying to control the position from guard on top but riley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
riley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nogueira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
riley is trying to control the position but Nogueira postures up.
Nogueira controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
riley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nogueira changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. riley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
riley looks gassed!
Nogueira wants to control but riley is keeping him busy.
Nogueira passes to full mount! That's big trouble for riley!
Nogueira takes riley's back.
Nogueira has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. riley is defending well but eventually Nogueira manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! riley has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
