PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Turcot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Gatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turcot comes to the cage accompanied by Uni Pour La Cause. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turcot tries to clinch but Gatti moves out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Turcot is trying to maintain a safe position but Gatti gets an underhook and turns Turcot into the cage.

and Turcot counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Turcot wants to stand and escape but Gatti is having none of it.
Gatti postures up and lands a big shot to Turcot's brow.

Gatti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
