Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Dela Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jemdet Nasr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dela Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by Bebot by Black Eyed Peas. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Dela Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jemdet Nasr! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nasr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nasr lands in his opponent's guard. Nasr throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dela Cruz working for a triangle but Nasr defends it easily.
Nasr trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dela Cruz's guard. Nasr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nasr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Nasr is working Dela Cruz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Nasr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dela Cruz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nasr keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dela Cruz's head. Dela Cruz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nasr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Nasr is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Nasr cracks Dela Cruz with a solid left hand. Nasr looking to pass the guard.

Nasr throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Nasr looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nasr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nasr fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dela Cruz tries to reverse the position but Nasr maintains control. Nasr lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Dela Cruz is rocked! Nasr landing strikes from the mount. Oh Dela Cruz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nasr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Dela Cruz defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nasr. Nasr lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Nasr avoids the attempt from Dela Cruz to control. Dela Cruz manages to regain half guard. Good work. Dela Cruz seems to have got his legs back now. Dela Cruz might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dela Cruz trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dela Cruz manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Dela Cruz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nasr is defending well. Dela Cruz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nasr has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dela Cruz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
