Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukasz Szymanski!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burns lands a nice leg kick that just misses Szymanski's sensitive parts.
Szymanski shoots in looking for a takedown. Burns tries to sprawl out of it but Szymanski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burns manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Burns gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Szymanski.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Burns pushes off an throws an elbow but Szymanski leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Burns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Szymanski misses with a few strikes there.
No luck for Szymanski with that takedown attempt.
Burns throws out a loose jab but Szymanski uses good head movement to avoid it.

Szymanski is trying desperately to land a takedown but Burns is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Szymanski.

Szymanski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Burns was covering up waiting for the punch and Szymanski finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Szymanski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Burns looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Burns looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Burns!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Moai Burns.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burns, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
