Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Scissors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scissors comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Paper Cut - Linkin Park kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Masters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Scissors!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scissors throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Masters tries to close the distance and clinch up but Scissors swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Masters shoots in for a takedown but Scissors shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Masters looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Scissors trying to control from the bottom.

Masters is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Scissors manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Masters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scissors swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Masters won't allow Scissors to get back to his feet.

Masters postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Scissors is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Masters, into his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Masters working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scissors doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scissors manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Scissors trying to control the position from guard on top but Masters is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Scissors got a little sloppy there for a moment and Masters has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Scissors has managed to get both his arms back between Masters's legs - danger averted.
Masters keeping moving, preventing Scissors from controlling successfully.
Scissors content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Scissors is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Masters has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Scissors is looking to defend but Masters has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Scissors! Masters pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Scissors taps out and this one is all over!
