Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Clayman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob comes to the cage accompanied by Oh my god.... Big Bob could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Clayman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Clayman! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob misses with a two punch combination.
Bob throws a series of punches but Clayman moves out of range. Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Clayman dodges the punch combination from Bob.
Bob loads up on a big right hand but Clayman slips the punch. Bob scores with a shot to the body.

Bob misses with the combination.
Bob closes the distance and lands a one-two. Bob misses with a series of wild punches.
Clayman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bob but Bob pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob scores with a jab. Bob throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clayman. Bob tries to bum rush Clayman with a series of wild strikes but Clayman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Clayman tries for a takedown but Bob sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Clayman shoots in and drives through. Bob sprawls well. Big Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Clayman. Clayman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bob defends it nicely. Bob throws a looping overhand right but Clayman ducks down to avoid it. Clayman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bob.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob stalks Clayman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Clayman's face. Clayman staggers backwards, shaken. Bob misses with a series of wild punches.
Clayman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bob sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clayman somewhat. Bob jabs Clayman right on the nose. Clayman blinks but takes it well. Bob tries to bum rush Clayman with a series of wild strikes but Clayman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Big Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Clayman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bob. Clayman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clayman fails with the takedown. Bob swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Clayman shoots for a double leg takedown but Bob sprawls well. He's pushed Clayman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Clayman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bob will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Clayman moves away. Clayman is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bob is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Clayman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A punch combination from Bob misses. A punch combination from Bob misses. Clayman shoots in but no luck this time. Clayman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bob but Bob pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bob stuffs the takedown attempt from Clayman. Clayman gets slowly back to his feet. Clayman moves out of range as Bob strikes. Bob throws a series of punches but Clayman moves out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Bob. No joy there for Bob, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Clayman moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Bob dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bob misses with a straight left. Clayman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bob looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bob is looking for a sweep. Clayman misses with the ground and pound. Bob tries to buck Clayman off but Clayman is having none of it. Bob sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bob is staying active underneath Clayman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bob is looking for a sweep. Clayman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Clayman is looking for a kimura here.
Clayman wants to free his trapped foot but Bob is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bob is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clayman trying to mount his opponent but Bob defends it. Clayman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Clayman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Clayman lands in his opponent's guard. Bob keeping full guard, as Clayman tries to pass. Bob throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Clayman with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clayman trying to control but Bob is working from the bottom. Clayman tries to free his leg and advance position but Bob is retaining full guard. Bob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Clayman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clayman wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position. Bob working for a triangle but Clayman defends it easily.
Clayman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bob is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clayman, into his guard. Clayman has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bob is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Clayman.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Clayman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Bob wants to control for a moment but Clayman uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Clayman gets back to full guard.

Bob works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bob postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Clayman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bob, into his guard. Mike Clayman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bob throws a nice looking combination but Clayman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Big Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clayman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bob throws a right and a left that Clayman avoids nicely. Good shot there by Bob. Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Clayman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Clayman feints and as Bob raises his hands in defense, Clayman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Clayman drops back looking for a leg! Bob is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bob manages to kick Clayman off! Clayman jumps back into Bob's guard. Bob is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Clayman defends well. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob wants to hit a switch here but Clayman passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bob there! Clayman wants to control the pace but Bob is squirming around nicely. Bob is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Clayman scoring with strikes to the body and head. Clayman is looking for a kimura but Bob is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clayman to get the leverage. Bob is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bob makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bob. Bob looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Clayman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Clayman pushing down on Bob's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Clayman wants to pass the guard but Bob is defending well. Clayman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Clayman seems to be working for a kimura but Bob defends the submission attempt. Clayman is working for a submission of some sort.

Bob keeping moving, preventing Clayman from controlling successfully. Clayman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clayman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Clayman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bob is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clayman, into his guard. Bob is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Clayman thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Bob forces his way into half guard. Bob is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Clayman wants to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Bob clearly takes that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Mike Clayman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
