The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracia slips a straight right by McRedd.
McRedd misses with an uppercut.
McRedd misses the shot to the body.
McRedd looks to land a combination but Gracia avoids it well.
Gracia takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gracia swings away with a leg kick that misses.
McRedd lunges at Gracia with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gracia's hand.
Gracia shoots for a double leg takedown but McRedd sprawls well. He's pushed Gracia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gracia defending well as McRedd loads up on a big left hand.
Gracia fails with a takedown attempt.
McRedd lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracia circles away quickly and effectively.
McRedd lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McRedd fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gracia drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gracia wants to control from the top but McRedd keeps moving.

McRedd is adopting a defensive guard.
McRedd keeping full guard, as Gracia tries to pass.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McRedd pulls Gracia in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracia wants to pass the guard but McRedd is keeping the position.
Gracia stands and throws McRedd's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McRedd controls the position for a moment.
Gracia wants to lay and pray for a moment but McRedd keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McRedd tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gracia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
McRedd tries to buck Gracia off but Gracia is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McRedd manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gracia's best efforts.
Gracia seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McRedd does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McRedd wants to improve his position but Gracia is controlling well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gracia steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McRedd.
McRedd digs a good body shot into Gracia's ribs.
Gracia has a takedown stuffed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracia.
Gracia keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McRedd.
McRedd throws a shot to the body.
McRedd throws a combination. Gracia tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gracia takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gracia is trying hard to land a takedown here. McRedd sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McRedd connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracia ducks under a wild hook from McRedd.
Gracia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McRedd avoids it really well and circles away.
Tavish McRedd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcel Gracia.
Gracia is breathing heavily.
McRedd works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McRedd throws a one two combo.
Gracia is rocked!
Gracia throws a head kick that misses.

McRedd looks to throw the jab but Gracia is out of range.
McRedd misses the jab.
Gracia seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. McRedd shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gracia is backing up but McRedd catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gracia covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! McRedd Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
