The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rasputin lands in his opponent's guard. Condor working a defensive guard but Rasputin passes into half guard.
Condor wants to improve his position but Rasputin is controlling well.
Rasputin trying to control the action but Condor is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rasputin wants to pass the guard but Condor is defending well. Condor is looking for a sweep. Rasputin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rasputin wants to pass to mount but Condor is defending the position. Rasputin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Condor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Condor wants it to stay on the feet. Rasputin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Condor. Condor tries for a takedown but Rasputin circles away easily and Rasputin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Condor's guard. Rasputin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rasputin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Condor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rasputin is aware though and is defending well. Condor has momentary wrist control but Rasputin slips an elbow through the middle. Rasputin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Condor is keeping the position for now. Rasputin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Condor manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Condor forces the positional change into back control. Condor looking to break Rasputin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rasputin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Condor will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Rasputin tries to escape the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Condor's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Rasputin can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Condor is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Rasputin taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Condor.
