Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Kronic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Lighting!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kronic moves into range and clinches up with Lighting.

Kronic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No joy there for Kronic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lighting is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kronic creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Lighting's defenses.
Lighting seems to have recovered his senses.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lighting unloads with some shots from mount but Kronic bucks and avoids them well.
Kronic holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lighting tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kronic's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Lighting takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nate Kronic is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Lighting is trying to control here but Kronic has managed to regain half guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kronic, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
