Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Hawthorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jackson's choice of entrance music: Rampage!!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quinton Jackson! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawthorn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hawthorn is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jackson off and has taken his back! Jackson covering up well under a barage of strikes. Jackson fending off the submission attempt from Hawthorn. Hawthorn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Hawthorn is looking to control Jackson but Jackson is wriggling around and keeping busy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jackson is nestled in close to Hawthorn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hawthorn pushes Jackson off looking to stand but Jackson dives back in and keeps control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson scores a takedown into full mount! Hawthorn sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jackson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hawthorn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jackson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hawthorn misses with some strikes from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Quinton Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
