Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Silva had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lawler cracks Silva with a right hand to the side of the head.
Lawler throws a series of strikes that have Silva backpedaling.
Silva takes one to the side of the head.
Lawler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lawler throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lawler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva moves away from the strike by Lawler.
Lawler lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lawler's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lawler duly obliges.

Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Lawler counters with a nice body kick.
Lawler throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lawler.
Eric Lawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva walks into a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lawler throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
Lawler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lawler might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lawler scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Lawler lands with a big left! Silva is wobbled badly! Lawler comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Silva to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
